Identification of NPA
  • Large amount of irrecoverable / partly recoverable loans in the recovery cell of the Banks/FI.
Acquisition
  • Loan assets of the unit are acquired from the lender by acquisition of their debts and parked with the Bank / ARC (Parking Agency) through deed of assignment. Back-to-back arrangements are made with the Parking Agency to secure rights over the loan asset. This assigns all the rights of the lender in our favour and all the modes of recovery can be exercised by us including acquisition/transfer of underlying security.
Aggregation
  • Debts of a particular unit with underlying security are acquired and aggregated to the extent of 75% of total debts in order to secure right of recovery under the SARFAESI Act.
Resolution
  • Exercise resolution of debt by selling loan assets, auction of assets under SARFAESI regulation or deliberating a clean/saleable right over the immovable property and other security through settlement of all the dues i.e. Labour, statutory dues etc, and resolving litigations.
